Ask anyone who knows me. Dogs are a complete joy in my life. I have worked with animals all my life, grew up on a farm and had all sorts of animals. I have been pet sitting for over 30 years and treat others’ animals as my own. As a dog and chicken
owner myself, I know how important it is to follow instructions, communicate well, and most of all, give all the snuggles and attention. I cannot wait to meet you and your fur baby!

Hi! I’m Beth. I grew up in Connecticut but moved to the Lowcountry 27 years ago. I have worked with animals for over 20 years including in kennels, daycares and clinics. Pet sitting is by far my favorite!! I have experience with all types of animals. I look forward to caring for your fur babies and of course all the cuddles. When I’m not busy caring for your babies I enjoy riding my horse and giving him treats!!

Hi! My name is Blakely and I am a mom to my firstborn, a golden retriever named Honey, and to my secondborn, our (human) almost 2-year-old son, Theo! I have also been married to my amazing husband, Jake, for four years. I am truly obsessed with all animals, and it is my goal to make your pet feel incredibly loved and safe while in my care. While not on mom-duty, I am pursuing my online master’s degree in speech therapy, spending time with family, finding new walking trails in CHS, and most likely cuddling a dog in between!

I’ve been around animals for over 25 years and have been caring for them professionally for about 5 years. Throughout that time, I’ve had the opportunity to work with all kinds of animals, including dogs, cats, reptiles, and more! As a Charleston native, I’m familiar with all parts of the Lowcountry and everything Charleston has to offer. I’m excited to bring my experience, love for animals, and knowledge of the area to the team and to provide pets and their families with dependable, loving care!

I’m Carly, a passionate pet care provider with five years of experience in ensuring that our furry companions are happy and well cared for. I grew up right here in the Lowcountry, and when I was 18, I moved to Jersey for four years and started my own dog walking business there. I recently moved back a few months ago and am so excited to meet all the pets in Charleston. In my free time, I love trying new food places, growing my perfume collection, seeing a new movie, inhaling all the popcorn (we all know how delicious it is), and saying hello to every animal I see. I can’t wait to meet both you and your pets!

Hi, we’re Christine and Brent! We live and work from our cozy downtown home, where there’s always plenty of room (and love) and a big backyard for pets. Since we both work remotely, we’re around throughout the day to give lots of attention, playtime, and snuggles. Not long ago, we said goodbye to our sweet angel dog, Leia. She was our world, and while we miss her every day, her memory leaves us with so much love to give. Caring for other pets has become a joyful way to keep her spirit alive and surround ourselves with the happiness animals bring. When we’re not at home, you can usually find us planning our next adventure — traveling and working out are some of our favorite ways to spend time together. But no matter where we go, coming home to wagging tails and happy paws is what makes life full. We’d be honored to give your pets the same care, comfort, and love that Leia gave us for so many years. ❤️

Chris would like to go on record and say that he is more than just the husband of the founder of Mind Your Pees and Poos! Sure, nepotism may have made getting the job a little easier, but he loves animals almost as much as Megan! Spending 14 years as a field technician for AT&T, Chris often came across snuggly animals in the wild, whether it be a squirrel that would take bread out of his hand, friendly pasture cows, horses in a field, or the outgoing neighborhood cat. And as the doting husband that he is, he would always take tons of pictures and share them with his wife. Their dog, Bear, is the love of his life and he treats all clients pets as if they were his own.

I graduated from Clemson University in 2023 and am proud to work as a Realtor. I have a passion for helping others and an even greater love for animals. I’m dedicated to supporting their well-being and helping them thrive, and I enjoy giving back to causes that make a positive difference in their lives.

My name is Ellie and I have always been a major animal lover! I’m originally from Ohio, but have called South Carolina home since 2024. I have experience working at a doggy daycare and pet-sitting for my friends/family. I currently own a rescue terrier named Freddie who has become my scruffy little sidekick.

When I’m not caring for a furry friend, I am an adaptive fitness trainer! I love the outdoors, especially the beach, and enjoy lots of different activities! I look forward to meeting you and pets, I will make sure they are not only well taken care of, but have some fun too!

Hi! My name is Erin and I absolutely love dogs. My four pups would paws-atively agree 🙂 I live in Mount Pleasant and I’ve spent over 15 years volunteering with animals through Dogs on Deployment, Charleston Animal Society and Libby and Mace’s Animal Rescue. My husband and I have our 53rd foster dog with us now! I have experience with dogs of all breeds, sizes, energy levels, and medical needs. I look forward to loving on your dogs as if they were my own.

I’m Essence. I’ve been dog sitting for fun for 11 years and absolutely love caring for dogs of all sizes, breeds, and personalities! I’m committed to making sure every pup feels safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. I can’t wait to meet you and your pup!

Loving and caring for animals has been a lifelong part of who I am. From fostering and caregiving to pet sitting and boarding, I have always treated every animal with the same love, patience, and compassion I would give my own.

For me, this is not just a job — it is something much more meaningful. Animals have a special place in my heart, and I feel privileged to be someone they can trust, feel safe with, and receive comfort from while their families are away.

I take the time to get to know each pet’s personality, needs, routines, and little quirks. Whether they need playtime, exercise, extra cuddles, reassurance, or simply someone beside them, I want them to feel loved and cared for as if they were my own.

To me, caring for someone’s fur baby is caring for a member of their family — and I never take that trust for granted. ❤️🐾🐶

Hi! My name is Julia! I was born and raised in Baltimore, MD, and recently moved to Mount Pleasant, SC. I’m a dog mom to my own fur baby, Fox. I have always loved being around animals and spending time outdoors. I recently earned my Master’s in Social Work and became a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), working as a therapist.

I know how much our pets mean to us, and I’ll treat your animals with the same love, care, and attention that I give my own. Whether it’s going for a walk, getting some fresh air, or enjoying a little extra playtime and attention, I want every pet to feel happy, safe, and loved. I can’t wait to meet you and your fur baby!

Hello, I’m Kaitlyn! While originally born and raised in Northwest Arkansas, I came to South Carolina in order to be closer to the coast and further my degree in Animal Medicine. I have grown up with tons of animals (cats, dogs, reptiles, etc.) my entire life and hope to use my knowledge and school studies to provide a trusting and safe space for your pets. Whether it’s an active environment or a quiet place to rest, my goal is to provide a comforting and familiar home while you’re away.

Hi! I’m Kelsey – dog mom to my two lovely ladies, Ellie and Kobe, who are truly my world! I moved to Charleston from NY about 2.5 years ago, and I’m so excited for the opportunity to meet and care for all the new pet faces in the area! I have over 5 years of experience caring for animals through professional pet services and volunteering at animal shelters. I love all animals to the moon and back and they are truly family! Can’t wait to meet your pet family and make sure they are well cared for!

Hi! I’m Kerri. After years in the corporate world in Annapolis, MD, I recently moved to Charleston to be closer to family and stay active doing something I love. I’m a lifelong dog lover — raised with dachshunds and now keeping up with my “grand-dogs:” a dachshund, a mutt, a Frenchie, and a yellow lab. For the past few years, I’ve been dog sitting for friends and love everything from long walks to playtime and companionship. I’m reliable, responsive, and treat every pet like my own. Excited to be part of the Poo Crew and care for your four-legged family members!

Hi! We are Marcus and Lisa, a husband-and-wife team who share a love for animals and a passion for providing reliable, compassionate pet care. As pet owners ourselves, we understand that pets are family and deserve attentive, loving care when their owners are away.

We have experience caring for our own dog, cat, and bearded dragon, as well as helping friends, family, and neighbors with their pets. We are comfortable with walks, feeding, playtime, companionship, and maintaining your pet’s daily routine.

Lisa works in early childhood special education, bringing patience, attentiveness, and strong communication skills, while Marcus is known for his reliability and caring nature. Together, we are committed to treating every pet as if they were our own and providing peace of mind to pet owners.

We look forward to meeting you and your furry family members!

Hi, I’m Mary! I’m a Charleston local of 20 years, though I’ll always be a Midwest girl at heart. As a mom of two and an avid runner, I understand the importance of daily exercise and routine for our four-legged friends. At home, I have a sweet old beagle named Sandy and a cat named Sally.

I’ve been working in pet care for many years, have been a foster mom, volunteered in shelters and it’s truly a passion of mine. Animals have always been a big part of my life, and I love that I get to spend my days with them. When I’m not working, I can be found out on a run, enjoying Charleston’s beautiful trails and beaches, or spending quality time at home with my kids. I can’t wait to meet you and your furry family members!

Hi! My name is Megan, and I absolutely love animals. I’m a wife and mom to three amazing teenagers and one very spoiled furry loveball named Ollie. Caring for animals has always brought me so much joy, and I know how important it is to have someone you trust looking after your pets when you can’t be there.

When I’m not taking care of my family or spending time with pets, I run my own branding studio here in Charleston. I also love design and photography, being at the beach, and soaking up everything the Lowcountry has to offer. I look forward to giving your pets the same love, attention, and care that I give my own!

I have taken care of dogs (and cats) my entire life — I never knew a life without a family pet! At any event where a dog may be present (party, park, work, gym) I will always be the person in the corner oohing and ahhhing over my new best friend! I cannot emphasize enough how much I love dogs, lol. I’m also super responsible, reliable, and responsive. I won’t take days to get back to you, and I will never flake or bail at the last minute. I would take SUCH good and loving care of your pup (all dogs are puppies to me) and will have a blast playing/snuggling with him or her! I’m comfortable issuing medication, cleaning up messes, and dog-sitting all types of breeds.

I bring a lifelong love of pets to Mind Your Pees and Poos. I grew up in Germany with a cat and guinea pigs of my own, and animals have always been a big part of my life. Over the years, my family and I have taken in neighbors’ dogs and cats many times — sometimes for a weekend, sometimes longer.

After more than 20 years working for big companies and some crazy startups, my wife and I are now empty nesters with four adult children, and I want to do something that felt truly purposeful. I found that here. I treat every pet like family and strive to make them feel comfortable while giving every owner peace of mind. This work matters to me, and I take that seriously.

Hey, I’m Parkwood! I’m a Charleston-native who has grown up in a household of animals my whole life and been involved in the care of our pets at all stages of their life. Rescuing our Golden Retriever a few years ago only confirmed how passionate I was about giving all pets the best life imaginable, and that translates into the compassionate, reliable care that I put toward all the pets I take care of!

Hi, I’m Paul! Growing up in a house with four kids, someone had to be in charge of the family dog, and I happily took the job. Feeding, walks, and bath time were mine, and I never once minded. Ever since, I’ve been the first call when friends and family need someone to watch their pets. When my brother’s job took him out of state, his dog came to stay with me. My own dog, Turner (pictured), was my gentle giant, and I still miss him every day. Caring for other people’s pets keeps that love going.

These days, my wife, kids, and I live in Mount Pleasant, where our fenced backyard is always ready for a game of fetch or relaxation. My career in real estate taught me that quick replies and showing up when you say you will are how you earn trust, and I bring that same approach to every visit. With regular photo updates, you can relax and enjoy your time away, knowing your pet is in good hands and has become part of our family.

I am a lifelong animal lover with a genuine passion for caring for pets and making sure they feel safe, happy, and loved. I have extensive experience in pet sitting and dog walking, including owning and operating my own pet care business in both Chicago and Connecticut. I have also fostered dogs and cats for most of my adult life. Jax (who’s pictured) is a foster fail! Can’t wait to meet your furry family members!

My name’s Will! I’ve been around dogs my whole life and genuinely love caring for them. I’m comfortable with all kinds of personalities and energy levels, and I always focus on making dogs feel safe, happy, and at home. I have a sweet little Italian Greyhound named Patty, so I can relate to how a good dog sitter can help you feel secure.

Do you love animals of all shapes and sizes? Are you reliable, responsive, flexible, and trustworthy? If so, let us know! We’re always looking for more team members to add to the growing Poo Crew!
