Booking and Scheduling

• All services must be booked through Mind Your Pees and Poos, not through individual Team Members. 
• All communication must be done through the group text thread between the Client, Team Member, and Owner.
• Services are subject to availability and are not confirmed until a confirmation email is received.
• Clients are responsible for providing accurate scheduling details, access information, veterinary contacts, and pet care instructions.

Cancellations and Overnight Parameters

Drop-In Visits and Walks:

• No cancellation fee if canceled at least 72 hours in advance.
• No fee for the first three late cancellations (less than 72 hours).
• After three late cancellations, a 25% fee applies for each visit canceled with less than 72 hours’ notice.

Overnights and In-Home Boarding:

• For services scheduled within three months of booking, cancellations made more than two weeks after booking incur a 25% fee (capped at $100).
  
  • Example: The Client books in February for services in April. Three weeks later, the Client cancels. A 25% fee applies.
• For services scheduled within two weeks of booking, cancellations must be made at least 72 hours in advance. Otherwise, a 25% fee applies (capped at $100).
  
  • Example: The Client books on February 2 for an overnight stay on February 12. The Client cancels on February 10. A 25% fee applies.

Billing Cycle

• Overnights and in-home boarding are billed on a 24-hour cycle. Time beyond 24 hours is prorated at $25 per hour (capped at the cost of one additional overnight).
  • Example A: The Client requests a Team Member arrive at 9 a.m. Friday and stay until 12 p.m. Sunday. Billing includes two overnights plus three prorated hours.
  • Example B: The Client requests a Team Member arrive at 9 a.m. Friday and stay until 5 p.m. Sunday. Billing includes three overnights.

Overnight Stay Requirements

• For the safety and comfort of pets and Clients, only the assigned Team Member may remain in the home during overnight care.
• No family, friends, visitors, or additional Team Members may enter the home.
• Exception: a Team Member’s spouse may stay only with prior disclosure and Client approval.

Pet and Home Care Duties

• Team Members will follow all Client-provided instructions, including feeding, medication, leash rules, and home access details.

Client Privacy and Confidentiality

• All Client information, access codes, schedules, and preferences remain confidential.
• No photos or videos will be shared publicly without explicit Client consent.
• Team Members will secure keys, access codes, doors, windows, and security systems at every visit.

Medical Emergencies

• If a pet becomes ill or injured, the Team Member will contact the Client immediately.
• If urgent care is needed and the Client cannot be reached, the Team Member may seek veterinary care at their discretion.
• All veterinary expenses are the responsibility of the Client.

Liability

• By booking services, the Client acknowledges responsibility for any pet-related incidents, injuries, illnesses, or behavioral damages occurring during or resulting from services. Mind Your Pees and Poos is not liable for:

• • Pre-existing conditions
  • Behavioral issues (chewing, marking, anxiety, accidents, escapes)
  • Home damage not caused by Team Member negligence
  • Veterinary costs or emergency care
• Clients must disclose all relevant behavioral and medical history prior to service.

Safety and Aggressive Behavior

• Services may be refused or discontinued if a pet displays aggression or creates unsafe conditions.
• The State of South Carolina requires the rabies vaccination metal license tag to be attached to a collar or harness worn by the pet for which the certificate and tag have been issued. Please ensure your pet has this license displayed on his or her collar.

Access and Security

• Reliable entry access must be provided.
• If a Team Member cannot gain entry due to malfunction or incorrect information, the visit will still be billed.

Holiday Rates

• Due to the high demand for pet sitting and dog walks during the holidays season, stays or visits that include any of the following rates will be priced at the holiday rate:

  • July 3–5
  • Labor Day Weekend
  • Thanksgiving Week
  • Christmas Week
  • December 30–January 1
• Holiday Rate Fees:

• • Additional $10 per drop-in visit or walk
  • Additional $15 per day for overnights and in-home boarding
