About Us

It all Began With Bear

In 2012, our founder, Megan, began volunteering at the local animal shelter to bring dogs to the Farmer’s Market adoption event every Saturday. She then began doing volunteer marketing for Austin Pets Alive, a no-kill shelter where she met the love of her life, Bear.

Since Bear, Megan’s heart expanded 1,000x and so has her passion for taking care of all animals: big or small, feathered or furry, kookie or calm.

In 2018, Megan began pet sitting on the side but it quickly evolved into something much bigger and more fulfilling. What started as a part-time gig turned into the Mind Your Pees and Poos you love today.
