Meet the faces behind the Poo Crew!

Ada

I’m Ada and I am proud mom to my Golden Retriever pack, Cooper and Stitch. I am a Charleston native, born and raised, and obsessed with all the wonderful furbabies this city has! I’ve worked with animals for my entire life, from horses to dogs, to reptiles and birds! With me having a veterinary medicine background (emergency, specialty and primary care) I hope to give you comfort and peace of mind knowing your pet is under the best care possible! I am also a graduate from USC with a degree focusing on biological sciences! I cannot wait to meet both you and your pets!!

Amy

Ask anyone who knows me. Dogs are a complete joy in my life. I have worked with animals all my life, grew up on a farm and had all sorts of animals. I have been pet sitting for over 30 years and treat others’ animals as my own. As a dog and chicken
owner myself, I know how important it is to follow instructions, communicate well, and most of all, give all the snuggles and attention. I cannot wait to meet you and your fur baby!

Blakely

Hi! My name is Blakely and I am a mom to my firstborn, a golden retriever named Honey, and to my secondborn, our (human) almost 2-year-old son, Theo! I have also been married to my amazing husband, Jake, for four years. I am truly obsessed with all animals, and it is my goal to make your pet feel incredibly loved and safe while in my care. While not on mom-duty, I am pursuing my online master’s degree in speech therapy, spending time with family, finding new walking trails in CHS, and most likely cuddling a dog in between!

Carly

I’m Carly, a passionate pet care provider with five years of experience in ensuring that our furry companions are happy and well cared for. I grew up right here in the Lowcountry, and when I was 18, I moved to Jersey for four years and started my own dog walking business there. I recently moved back a few months ago and am so excited to meet all the pets in Charleston. In my free time, I love trying new food places, growing my perfume collection, seeing a new movie, inhaling all the popcorn (we all know how delicious it is), and saying hello to every animal I see. I can’t wait to meet both you and your pets!

Chris

Chris would like to go on record and say that he is more than just the husband of the founder of Mind Your Pees and Poos! Sure, nepotism may have made getting the job a little easier, but he loves animals almost as much as Megan! Spending 14 years as a field technician for AT&T, Chris often came across snuggly animals in the wild, whether it be a squirrel that would take bread out of his hand, friendly pasture cows, horses in a field, or the outgoing neighborhood cat. And as the doting husband that he is, he would always take tons of pictures and share them with his wife. Their dog, Bear, is the love of his life and he treats all clients pets as if they were his own.

Christine and Brent

Hi, we’re Christine and Brent! We live and work from our cozy downtown home, where there’s always plenty of room (and love) and a big backyard for pets. Since we both work remotely, we’re around throughout the day to give lots of attention, playtime, and snuggles. Not long ago, we said goodbye to our sweet angel dog, Leia. She was our world, and while we miss her every day, her memory leaves us with so much love to give. Caring for other pets has become a joyful way to keep her spirit alive and surround ourselves with the happiness animals bring. When we’re not at home, you can usually find us planning our next adventure — traveling and working out are some of our favorite ways to spend time together. But no matter where we go, coming home to wagging tails and happy paws is what makes life full. We’d be honored to give your pets the same care, comfort, and love that Leia gave us for so many years. ❤️

Isabelle

Hello! My name is Isabelle, and I’ve been a pet owner and lover since I was born. I’ve had dogs, cats, and even cows! The only time I’ve not had a pet of my own was my first three years of college, when I wasn’t allowed to have one. But that didn’t stop me from finding ways to help and care for animals; in that time I volunteered at shelters and got a job in an aquarium to help feed and care for the animals there. Animals of all shapes and sizes are my favorite types of pets, and I can’t wait to meet your family friend too!

Jenny

I’m Jenny, and I have loved caring for animals my entire life, growing up with dogs and horses (and therefore also barn cats). I have worked part-time as a veterinary assistant since 2011 across primary care, urgent care, and emergency and specialty practices. I’m dedicated to my passion for helping pets and their people and I am happy to be there for you and your fur babies! If I am not spending time at home with my husband and our dog (or watching the Great British Baking Show), I am out training, either running on a trail or building strength at the gym.

Lauren

Hi, I’m Lauren! I graduated from Sacred Heart University and moved to Charleston in May 2025. I work remotely in social media marketing for hotels and restaurants downtown, but I’ve been pet sitting for 7 years and absolutely love it. I’ve always grown up around animals and started helping neighbors with their dogs when I was just a teenager. In my free time, I love exploring the Charleston County parks, trying new pilates classes, and swimming. I look forward to making your pet feel comfortable, happy, and well cared for while you’re away!

Megan

I have taken care of dogs (and cats) my entire life — I never knew a life without a family pet! At any event where a dog may be present (party, park, work, gym) I will always be the person in the corner oohing and ahhhing over my new best friend! I cannot emphasize enough how much I love dogs, lol. I’m also super responsible, reliable, and responsive. I won’t take days to get back to you, and I will never flake or bail at the last minute. I would take SUCH good and loving care of your pup (all dogs are puppies to me) and will have a blast playing/snuggling with him or her! I’m comfortable issuing medication, cleaning up messes, and dog-sitting all types of breeds.

Mikayla and Dale

We’re Mikayla and Dale – a husband and wife duo based in beautiful Charleston, SC. Mikayla works from home and Dale proudly serves as a Charleston City police officer. When we’re not working, you can usually find us running together, reading on the beach, or exploring the city in search of the perfect iced latte. Our hearts were forever changed by our sweet angel dog, Michigan – our first baby and the soul of our little family. Though she recently crossed the rainbow bridge, her memory inspires us every day to love and care for animals with the same devotion she gave us. We know how important it is to trust the people looking after your pets, and we promise to treat your furry family members as if they were our own; we can’t wait to shower them with all the love they deserve!

Piper

I can’t remember a time when I didn’t have a best friend in a pet! Growing up on a farm, I have experience with all types of furry friends. Currently, I have two dogs, a cat, and two bunnies! They make my day every day and are truly a part of my family. With my love for animals and my sense of responsibility, your best friends will be in great hands!

Tammy

Hi, I’m Tammy! With over 40 years of experience in pet care, a background in the veterinary field, and a deep heart for rescue and rehabilitation, I am passionate about providing loving, reliable care for your pets while you’re away. Our home is shared with three Boston Terriers and two French Bulldogs, so I truly understand the joys (and quirks!) of life with dogs. After many years of moving as a military family, we are grateful to now call Mount Pleasant home. When I’m not caring for pets, you’ll usually find me tending to my flower garden or baking sourdough for my family. I look forward to meeting you and giving your pets the same care and attention I give my own.

You!

Do you love animals of all shapes and sizes? Are you reliable, responsive, flexible, and trustworthy? If so, let us know! We’re always looking for more team members to add to the growing Poo Crew!
