It all Began With Bear...

Our founder, Megan, always thought she was a cat person. She liked all animals and dog snuggles, but preferred the companionship of her two cats more than anything.

In 2012, she began volunteering at the local animal shelter to bring dogs to the Farmer's Market adoption event every Saturday, and that's when she decided maybe she wanted a dog after all...

After thinking long and hard about it, Megan set aside a day to head to Austin Pets Alive, a no-kill shelter. And that is where she met the love of her life, Bear.

Since Bear, Megan's heart expanded 1,000x and now she has a passion for taking care of all animals: big or small, feathered or furry, kookie or calm.

In 2018, Megan began pet sitting on the side but it quickly evolved into something much bigger and more fulfilling. What started as a part-time gig turned into the Mind Your Pees and Poos you love today.

• Above and beyond customer service. We've done everything from making an impromptu run to a client's house to make sure they turned the oven off to decorating a home for a surprise birthday party to baking homemade cookies as a welcome home gift! Our customer service is top-notch!
